I called them about my cat, Catfish, rapidly losing weight, vomiting, and being lethargic. I was able to drop him off at 7 a.m. the next day and they had him all fixed up within 3 hours. Six days later he’s back to his normal self!
Magnolia Veterinary Partners, LLC was born in February 2023 formed by Drs. Katie Bannerman and Lindsay Herzog. Together, both veterinary professionals share common values and philosophies based in life mantras of faith, perseverance, and good “ole” southern grit.
Interesting enough, Dr Katie and Dr Lindsay “knew” each other before they met. Having practiced in the same local clinics but at different times, they often worked cases after each other. They would make mental notes on how similar the other practiced and approached similar cases based off of reading patient charts. Their paths would bring them to meet in person the summer of 2018 and put faces to the handwriting they grew to know each other by. Katie and Lindsay found that they had much more in common than the style of their medicine. Both learned of each other’s strong ties to family and community as well as inherent traits that build strong women. Their mental fortitude, faith in God, and relentless determination molded their lives bringing them to this meeting point.
Preserving the family-centered private practice was always important to both doctors and was the foundation for collaborating together. They decided that creating a partnership founded on these expectations was indeed valued and craved by this Covington community. Hard work, dedication, and commitment brought them together and carried them to the creation of the little local company called Magnolia Veterinary Partners.
Having a Magnolia as the symbol of their company is both a nod to their southern pride as well as their “strong as steel” attitudes. The endurance and strength of magnolia trees are known as a symbol of everlasting connections. Katie and Lindsay stand stronger together to ensure that all staff practice the same culture of supporting one another honestly and with compassion. It is only fitting that the magnolia is the shared symbol of strength, perseverance, and grace.
The strongest steel goes through the hottest fire.
