The Doctors Daniel were in their early twenties when they opened their practice in Covington in 1982. They are both graduates of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Over the years they have mentored over 20 veterinary graduates and sent them on to prosperous careers. They have watched their practice grow into a multi-vet facility allowing them to both be semi-retired.
Dr Lori, although retired from practicing veterinary medicine, continues to manage the practice daily. Her primary focus being on financial matters, medical records and consulting. In her free time, she continues to teach exercise classes as she has for almost 30 years.
Dr. Dan, now part-time, enjoys educating when he is not practicing. In 2005, Dr. Dan helped in founding the Louisiana Technical College for Veterinary Technicians. His passion for mentoring students and interns interested in veterinary medicine is what he finds most rewarding. In his free time, Dr. Dan enjoys fishing, relaxing at his camp in Mississippi with Dr. Lori and his dogs, and his many handyman 'projects.'
Dr. Katie Bannerman graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Katie is a native of the Northshore and began her veterinary career here at Animal Medical Center as a high school intern. She practiced in Metairie for 7 years before returning home to the Northshore. She takes special interest in endocrinology and soft tissue surgery. Outside of practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and her crazy dog.
Dr. Lindsay Herzog graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and began her equine career in the greater New Orleans area. In 2011, she and her husband moved to the Northshore to raise their future family and to expand her veterinary services and career. To present, Dr. Lindsay practices small animal medicine while continuing to provide equine ambulatory veterinary services to both the Northshore and Southshore. Dr. Lindsay and her husband have two daughters. The family of four enjoys their farm, horseback riding, and anything outdoors!
Dr. Jeanne Richardson graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. As the daughter of veterinarian, Max Begue, Dr. Jeanne grew up around veterinary medicine. Her time spent at her father’s small animal practice in the French Quarter and on the backside of the racetrack at the New Orleans Fair Grounds nurtured her love for animals and strengthened her desire to become a veterinarian. Dr. Jeanne and her husband have two daughters and currently reside in Covington. During her free time, she enjoys saltwater fishing and cooking.
