Meet our operations manager Jennifer Williams-Smith, RVT. Jennifer graduated as a registered veterinary technician in September 2008 from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and joined the Animal Medical Center team in October 2008. Since that time she has become, and
continues to prove to be, an invaluable asset. From managing our staff to expediting daily tasks to training new hires, Jennifer can be found helping in all aspects of the hospital. Years of veterinary technician experience have honed her skills in the field, however it’s her compassion and work ethic that have made her the person she is today. Both her skill-set and attitude contribute to her critical role in our hospital. Jennifer, her husband Mike, and son Tristan live in Bogalusa and enjoy training in karate as a family weekly. The family of three also includes horses Lakota and Rhett and fur-babies Hera, Freyja, Poppy, Amie, Mazie, Xena, and feisty-feathered Dixie.
